The Enertex® MeTa² KNX room controller combines sensor technology with the convenient feel of an easy-to-use rocker control, as well as a comprehensive control center and a temperature control system with modern TFT displays.
The up to four electronically inscribable mechanical rockers enable up to 80 operating functions, whereby each rocker can be assigned ten times. The labeling field allows the action to be carried out to be displayed, including feedback messages, information displays, alarms and message functions.
The housing made of high-quality solid aluminum houses a high-resolution rocker display with age-resistant color TFT (IPS) technology, whose black background is seamlessly integrated into the panes of the rockers.
There are four color variants to choose from: Brushed aluminium, black anodized, white (RAL9010) powder-coated, gold-plated.
Standard or Premium:
The right size for every application.
The only difference between the two variants is the large upper display and the number of rockers: two (Standard) or four (Premium) and therefore the maximum number of possible channel functions.
Both variants offer 10 menu levels, which can be changed using the hidden MeTa — Menü Taster (german for menu button) at the bottom.
Practical: Both devices are parameterized in the same ETS application. You can switch from Standard to Premium if you need more functions.
Customizable
With more than 500 different icons, free color selection for texts and icons, as well as fonts for different languages (Western European and Eastern European coding, Cyrillic, Greek, Hebrew, Arabic), the room controller offers a high degree of customizability.
The text color can be selected from a list of predefined colors that harmonize perfectly with the frame color. Alternatively, you can also set any RGB color. The icons are also colored accordingly.

32 channels that can be flexibly assigned to individual buttons or rockers in the application. This makes it possible to reassign functions without having to link the KOs again.
Room controller
Two-stage temperature control: Set separate setpoints for heating and cooling and enjoy pleasant comfort at all times.
Control of up to four controller extensions enables central management of multiple rooms.
Connection of up to four split units - ceiling or wall units can be seamlessly integrated and centrally operated.
Three-stage fan control (fan coil actuator) for individual air circulation: quiet, medium or powerful.
The integrated temperature and humidity sensor provides precise measurement data for a pleasant room climate.
All information at a glance
Preconfigured display configurations for the daily weather forecast and the typical energy sources and consumption in the home (EV wallbox, battery storage, PC, Grid).
You only need to link the appropriate group addresses. We recommend our Enertex® SmartMeter and Enertex® EibPC² as a data source. Of course, any other KNX device with suitable data points will also work.
Logic module
Up to 8 logic functions:
- Logic gate with up to four inputs, optionally inverted
- Converter 1 bit to 1 byte
- Blocking elements with optional input delay and filter
- Comparator with value or range
- Limit value switch with hysteresis
The logic functions can be sent when the inputs or the output change (with a delay if necessary) or cyclically.
Motion detector
Integrated radar-based motion detector with a range of around three meters and divided into three zones.
Switch on the rockers only for operation or send an alarm message if something moves in your absence in the house.
Integrated light sensor to control the rockers depending on the brightness and automatically adjust the room lighting or shading.
Notifications
Alarm function with six configurable alarms (acoustic and/or visual).
Notification function for recording and displaying up to 32 KNX events (door opens, alarm system disabled, limit value exceeded, ...).
Output of three different signal tones in two volumes, e.g. to be used as doorbell.
