## Dimming settings

These parameters apply globally to the device. For some parameters, it can be defined whether they should be set *Globally* or *Specifically*. If *Specifically* is chosen, the respective parameter is defined within the individual channels and only applies to that one.

The *Dimming curve* is intended to enable a smooth increase/decrease in brightness during the dimming process.
Since the human eye is significantly more sensitive in the lower brightness range than in the upper range, the Enertex (D) dimming curve is generally perceived as a pleasantly uniform dimming process.

The parameter *Switch on with relative dimming* affects behavior when dimming relatively from the OFF state to the ON state.
If set to *No*, the channel will not switch on if it is OFF and a target brightness above 0% is given via relative dimming.
If set to *Yes*, the channel can be switched on via relative dimming and the target brightness will be dimmed.

In *Dimming speeds*, the times corresponding to a dimming operation from 0% to 100% are defined.
Different times can be specified for switching on, off, as well as absolute and relative dimming.
*Absolute dimming speed* is also used for dimming to a fixed value (e.g., in bit scenes).
